Tail of Tails (Ages 6-10)

Lipika Sahoo (mother and author) tells an engaging story about acceptance.

One sunny day, a group of animal friends meet in the forest. There is a happy dog, a fuzzy squirrel, a proud peacock, and many more. Each animal makes up a fun rhyme about how special their tail is, and all the exciting things it can do. When a surprise guest shows up at the end, readers will be left laughing and scratching their heads…and their tails.

In this session, the story of a group of animals talking about their tails is told uniquely to inspire and engage the older kids. What is the scientific purpose of a tail? What happens when we don’t use the things we have?
