During our previous Kids Cafe – The Art of Storytelling, Yashika told a wonderful story called Achoo! This is a tale about the forest animals imagining how the sneeze of an elephant is.

Storytelling is a powerful skill and mechanism with which we as parents and educators can connect with our children, communicate ideas, empower them with the toolkit of imagination and cognitive thinking, and strengthen our relationship.

3-min | 🌺Remembrance from a child’s lens

Veterans want Canadians to understand the price of freedom. They are passing the torch to the people of Canada, so the memory of their sacrifices will continue, and the values they fought for will live on in all of us.

As parents and educators, let’s remember our veterans, their sacrifices, their will and collective hope for a prosperous Canada and world. We remember, thank, and honour them.

3-min | Ready for Action 🏁

The average person gained between 15% to 20% in weight during the pandemic. The main culprit for weight gain was that fitness centres were closed. In addition, very few people admitted to their increased spending on delivery food.

Solutions that could have easily been exercised are going for walks, bike riding, and home-cooking.

As parents and educators, we are preparing and hopefully demonstrating to our children and young learners to take control of situations, and thus take action.
